Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I buy a specific item? You can use the command '/find' to find warps that are selling the item you are looking for. Use it like so: '/find item_name'. You can also find items for sale at survival.rocks/shops.
My pistons are not working at all.You have to claim pistons before they work properly. Make sure to have a big claim all around your redstone work.
How do permissions sync in top level and subdivided claims?First of all: subdivided claims are claims that are inside a top level claim. Subdivided claims have the same trust-permissions as the top level claims, but you can add more trust-permissions to subdivided claims that don't sync with the top level claim. If you update trust-permissions for a top level claim, it will also allow these trusted players to the subdivided claim.
How do I create a (chest) shop?1. First, you have to (partially) own a company. To create a company, use '/create-company name'. Read through the contract and attach your signature on the last page of the contract.
2. Place down a chest or barrel and put the item you want to sell into that container (important!).
3. Place a sign around it (above, attached to, next to, or below the container), with this on the sign:
line 1: leave empty (however, if you own multiple companies, you can put the company name here)
line 2: the amount of item you want to sell per transaction
line 3: the price of the item(s)
line 4: ? (a question mark only, important!)
The ? will be filled in with the item ID of the item in the container.
If you want to buy items from players, you have to prefix the number on line 3 with an 'S'. You will then also need to deposit coins into your company by doing '/company (name) deposit (coins)'. These coins will then be used to pay for the items people sell to your shop. When the company's balance runs out, others will be unable to sell to your company.
Note that creating a shop has a 5¢ fee per chest! And if you own more than 20 chest shops, your sales will be taxed. More about that at survival.rocks/economy. Make sure you plan your shops well in advance!
Why doesn't my shop show up on the website? For your shops to be findable with /find or on the website, they need to be within a 100 block radius from a warp. Your shops will not immediately show on the website if you set your warp after you created your shops. You will then have to wait for the server to reboot, which is usually done once every day. Your shop also has to be in stock. Chest shops won't be visible if the shop is out of stock, too.
